About David Mouko Elizaphan Omaanya
Elizaphan holds an advanced diploma in Banking and Financial Support Services from the Kenya School of Monetary Studies, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from St. Paul’s University, and an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. Elizaphan is currently working towards a PhD in Blockchain and Innovation.
Experience
Before taking up the role of Country Director and East Africa Business Head of Flutterwave in 2019, David Mouko Elizaphan Omaanya was the Head of Electronic Business at GTBank Kenya. Elizaphan Mouko has also worked as E-Commerce Manager at Equity Bank Limited, Product Manager within the Transactional Banking division at Imperial Bank, and Senior Operations Officer at United Bank for Africa. He is currently Director of Savannah Technologies Ltd.
GTBank
GTBank Kenya, where Elizaphan worked from December 2016 to September 2019, is a major banking group listed on the London Stock Exchange and headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. The organization has more than 200 branches throughout Africa and the United Kingdom. As well as personal banking, GTBank Kenya offers business banking, including commercial and corporate banking services, SME banking, and GTBusiness Accounts.

Uzapoint
Elizaphan is also a Director of the fintech company Uzapoint, which offers mobile and web POS (Point of Sale) software for small and medium-sized enterprises in Africa. The software provides tools to assist with sales reporting, customer management, stock management, quotation and invoicing, and expenses management. As well as cloud-based recordkeeping, Uzapoint can help its users make better informed business decisions and access new markets and financing opportunities .
